Stress is an adverse reaction to excessive pressure or certain situations. It can leave us feeling overwhelmed or overloaded. It’s a normal human response and can be motivating.
However, if we are overwhelmed by stress for a long time, it may adversely impact our mental and physical health.
A counsellor can help you understand why you feel stressed and find the coping strategies that work for you.

Telephone Counselling is as Effective as Face-to-Face
A recent research study indicates that, "...similar clinical outcomes can be achieved via the telephone as are obtained in face-to-face [therapy]".
Furthermore, the alliance between therapist and client, as well as levels of empathy, attentiveness, participation and openess, are equivalent as in face-to-face therapy.
